Small crit for Sam
The basic idea is that if your spacing is even, the eye has a harder time moving across the form, since each "even segment" seems to be of equal importance. So, what I've done is adjust the ring spacing so they lead the eye up the pole to the symbol up top.
So what is your story? Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see more!

This was really fun to make...
...i hope it isn't horrible to watch haha.
oh wait, never mind. i wanted it to be assaultive.
This was a really fun collaboration where we got together to make stuff but then we went away to finish making stuff. That way we each made separate complete stuff but starting with the same original stuff. I hope that isn't unclear. watch Will's explanation. It's better.
oh also i want to shout out Jeremy here. On a whim I emailed him and said, 'do you want to draw pictures for this like you did for Die Antwoort' and he did! but i didn't use them. strangely, the reason i didnt use them is because they are too damn good. so good in fact I'm going to figure out a way to pay Jeremy to animate crazy stompin characters for a future music video. i dont know what exactly, yet, but i swear on the blood of robert muldoon from Jurassic Park that it will be made manifest.
Awesome to see all of you keeping it mad sketchy. I LOVE logging on here and seeing new stuff up all the time. WIN!

sketchy sundays/mysterious monster mondays
get your shit up mofffuuuukazzz!!!
So, yeah we're all going to have a hard time keeping it strictly on Sunday, but I think it's a good exercise to try and at least post 1 new sketch SOMETIME every week. For me it is a good exercise to force myself to come up with new creature concepts. While most of these 1-2 hour concepts are going to be pretty lame, there's always a chance that one of these random ideas will plant a seed for something I can develop later.
Today's Mysterious Monster: The Queil Nelga'a
The Queil Nelga'a are a race of amphibious creatures that live in the swamps far to the south east of the Central Kingdom. They are notoriously murderous and they carve large tombstones for every warrior they slay. These tombstones are not to honor the slain, however. Rather, they are used as weapons, as the Queil Nelga'a believe that if you kill a foe with a slain enemy's marker stone, you own the soul of the enemy whose stone was used as a weapon. The Queil Nelga'ahave a rich and secretive history of sorcery and witch-craft surrounding their murderous practices, and some believe the Queil Nelga'a's more powerful tribal leaders actually command armies of ghosts which can spread plague and cause bad luck for their enemies. Whatever the truth may be, it is certain that if you are traveling in the south eastern swamps and you hear their raspy croaks, you are in dangerous territory and should be wary of surprise attack.

Wheat Pasting
Me and a buddy tried to do some wheat pasting today. Its fun, but a little scary... but fun.
Hey on a side not, lately when I try to post pictures on blogspot I keep getting these errors that tell me that my html cannot be accepted. Something about the META tage not being aloud. Then when I publish the posts the images can't be clicked on for the larger version. It sucks, anyone know why or how to fix it?

Some cool reference
So banana pans are hard to draw, at least I find them hard to draw. I think one of the main reasons is that there is not much in the way of real world reference. Here is a link to some that I recently found.
